How ODIN Works
From zero to multiplayer in minutes – not months.
1. Install & Configure
Add the ODIN plugin to Unity, Unreal, or your web project. Generate your access key in the dashboard – that’s your authentication done.
2. Connect & Talk
Join voice rooms with a single API call. Our global voice servers are always running – no setup needed. 3D audio works out of the box.
3. Deploy & Scale
Upload your game server as a Docker image to Fleet. Deploy to 18+ regions with one click. We handle scaling, monitoring, and DDoS protection.

What Others Say
We replaced our custom voice solution with ODIN and cut integration time from months to days. The spatial audio just works – our players love that they can hear teammates based on where they actually are in the game world.
ODIN Voice helped us achieve consistent performance under heavy loads while delivering realistic proximity chat and radio communication. It raised the bar for immersive audio in Gray Zone Warfare.
ODIN was one of the best decisions we made regarding voice as it integrates with Unreal Engine’s built-in spatialization & occlusion systems. Their team was extremely helpful in sorting out any issues during setup.
We were the first to go live with ODIN and it was worth the risk. The integration was smooth and the dev team always supported us in the best manner.
Easy to Use, Easy to Scale
ODIN is the easiest way to add voice chat to your game or app. With our SDKs, you can integrate voice chat in minutes, not weeks. Whether you’re building a game, a virtual reality experience, or an enterprise application, ODIN has you covered.
The ODIN Fleet Console is your central hub for managing your ODIN projects. From here, you can configure server settings, deploy new instances, and monitor performance - all in real-time.
The ODIN Fleet CLI is a powerful command-line tool that allows you to manage your ODIN projects from the terminal. With the CLI, you can create and manage deployments, monitor server performance, and automate tasks.
The ODIN Fleet REST API provides programmatic access to all features of the ODIN Fleet Console. You can use the API to automate tasks, integrate with other systems, and build custom applications.

Package Details
The Starter Package is our all-in-one bundle for indie developers, costing a flat €49 per month. It combines server hosting and voice chat into one package so you can get started immediately.
In detail, you get:
- ODIN Fleet (Hosting): You receive server credits sufficient to permanently run 10 instances of our M4 server type (2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM). Simply upload your Docker containers and scale as needed.
- ODIN Voice (Premium Audio): Full access to our voice technology, including a license for 500 PCU (Peak Concurrent Users). Features like 3D spatial audio are already included.
The package is exclusively aimed at indie studios and small startups.
As a guideline: Your studio has a maximum of 10 permanent employees and generates a maximum of €250,000 in annual revenue. Cases exceeding this will be evaluated individually on a case-by-case basis.
Additionally, the following regulations apply:
- Gaming Focus: The infrastructure is optimized for game servers. Improper use (e.g., crypto mining) is not permitted.
- Resource Limits: The package covers hosting and voice (500 PCU). Additional consumption is fairly billed via pay-as-you-go. You can set a limit in the system to maintain full cost control.
- Commercial Use: Allowed. You may use the package for commercial live games.
- No Reselling: Reselling of services is prohibited.
- Abuse Clause: We reserve the right to cancel or terminate contracts if we find that our service is being misused or the criteria for the Starter Package are not met.
Costs & Risk (The Price Check)
The difference is massive. A comparable setup at AWS (or other hyperscalers) would cost you well over €600 per month.
You wouldn’t just pay for the server instances there, but also expensive additional services for voice (third-party providers) and traffic.
Direct Comparison (10x Servers + 500 Voice Users):
| Cost Item | ODIN Starter Package | Typical AWS Scenario* |
|---|---|---|
| Compute (10 Servers) | Included (€49 flat) | approx. €450.00 |
| Voice Chat (500 PCU) | Included (ODIN Voice) | approx. €150.00 (ext. provider) |
| Traffic / Egress | Included | approx. €0.09 per GB |
| Storage & IPs | Included | Extra fees |
| Total per month | €49.00 | > €600.00 |
*Estimation based on on-demand prices of comparable instances and external voice tools.
We hear that often – and you’re right, it’s an absolute competitive price.
But here’s the deal: We’ve been in the server business for 25 years and have optimized our infrastructure and processes extremely efficiently. We pass this “magic” and our purchasing advantages directly on to you today. Why? Because we believe in the indie scene. We want your budget to flow into your game, not into overpriced hosting bills.
Hardware & Performance
You have full control over performance: In the dashboard, you choose exactly how many vCPU cores and how much RAM your server container requires. We guarantee that these resources are then provided on our high-performance Bare Metal Enterprise hardware:
- AMD EPYC systems with 256–512 GB RAM
- AMD Ryzen clusters with 128–256 GB RAM
- Dual Xeon servers with 256–512 GB RAM
ODIN Voice & Features
CCU (Concurrent Users): The number of players online right now. PCU (Peak Concurrent Users): The highest number of simultaneous players in a month.
The Starter Package already includes 500 PCU. A calculation example: In many games, about 5% of players use voice chat simultaneously. This means with around 10,000 simultaneous players (CCU) in your game, you would need approximately 500 PCU for voice.
Setup & Support
Getting started is simple:
- Create an account and set up your first project.
- Upload your game server files as Docker containers.
- Define the resources (CPU/RAM).
- Start your servers with a click in seconds.
- Integrate ODIN Voice into your Unreal, Unity, or web project.
